Severson headed to Northland College

Second year forward Parker Severson has announced his commitment to Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin beginning in the fall of 2021. Northland is an NCAA Division III program and member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).

A native of Saginaw, Michigan Severson played his NA3HL rookie season with Coach Don Babineau in 2019-20 with the Coulee Region Chill where he posted 33 goals and 66 points in 45 games.

Last spring Severson followed Babineau to Oregon signing with the Tradesmen.

“We are proud and excited for Parker,” said Babineau. “He has also made some team history as the first Tradesmen player to commit to D-III college hockey.”

The 20-year old Severson played 33 games this season with Oregon scoring 20 goals while adding 20 assists. He will join a Northland squad coached by Seamus Gregory who enters his eighth season as bench boss of the Lumberjacks.
