As the 2020 portion of the Oregon Tradesmen schedule came to a close, everyone involved were encouraged after the 5-3 victory over the Milwaukee Power. The team will enjoy a holiday break before returning to action January 8-9.
Two goals each from Jason Tenezaca and Gunnar Schiffmann powered the Tradesmen offense. Jack Sumner also scored his first of the season.

Goaltender Hunter Adams, who stopped 35 of 38 shots, deserved much of the credit in the team victory surviving a second period which he saw 18 shots. The Power were able to tie the game 2-2 at 6:41 of the period, but Adams stood up to the challenge the rest of the way. Milwaukee did not score their third until 18:38 of the third when the game was already in hand.
Oregon (9-8-0-0) have yet to play a game in the home rink due to COVID-19 restrictions. They currently sit in third place of the six-team NA3HL Central Division. Rochester Grizzlies (14-2-0-0) and Peoria Mustangs (10-2-1-1), who play a two-game series this weekend, are on top of the standings. With the regular season schedule extending to March 13 there is plenty of hockey left in 2021.
